Bernard Heuvelmans (Le Havre, October 10, 1916 - Le Vesinet, August 24, 2001) was a Belgian zoologist and founder of the cryptozoölogie, the teachings of hidden animals whose existence may be suspected.

Heuvelmans would remain chairman of the International Society of Cryptozoology until his death.

The documentary Crypto Puzzle (Jacques Mitch, 2001) highlights the lives of Heuvelmans and his followers.
